Alcohol to-go action alert

Brief Summary:  During the pandemic, the Legislature passed HB 1480 which created allowances for businesses to temporarily serve alcohol-to-go via curbside pickup or delivery that expires on July 1. This bill aims to make the allowances permanent. In addition, if a third-party delivers alcohol and is out of compliance, it is a strike back on the license of the restaurant. This bill will help reconcile that liability and ensure that third-party delivery companies are held accountable.

Action Alert Status: Our bill is scheduled for a hearing on Thursday, Jan. 26 in the House Committee on Regulated Substances and Gaming at 8 a.m. Your support would mean a lot to making sure this bill gets out of the committee.

Please sign-in PRO to support this bill.
