The Department of Homeland Security, in conjunction with the Department of Labor, just released a temporary final rule that will make available an additional 64,716 H-2B visas, which is the maximum permitted for fiscal year 2024.
These additional visas will provide crucial help to seasonal lodging businesses, but will not be enough to meet hoteliers’ labor needs. The American Hotel and Lodging Association will continue to urge Congress and the administration to make more H-2B visas available in the
future. Watch our "Your H-2B questions answered with Davis Bae of Fisher Phillips" webinar on our members-only site.
