Labor and Industries announces minimum wage and overtime threshold for 2024

The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) just announced the minimum wage is increasing to $16.28 an hour and takes effect Jan. 1, 2024.


Additionally, L&I has established new minimum salary thresholds for overtime exempt employees based on changes in the minimum wage.
